Regain Control

As you learn to love yourself you will begin to regain control over your life. Things will start to change for you.

As you begin to make YOUR decisions as to how YOU want YOUR life to be, you will begin to feel your power return. With this feeling of being in your own power comes a wonderful feeling of freedom. Each time you make a decision your power grows a little stronger and your feeling of freedom increases. The empowerment that you are now giving yourself spills over into everything. Your love for yourself grows, sessions of beating yourself up lessen, concerns of what others think start to fade away.

If there are times when you are not sure of what decisions to make, imagine yourself in those situations presented to you and choose the one that feels the most comfortable. We all have that within us that speaks to us. that "still small voice", we just need to listen. We can feel what is best for us, and that is the feeling we should follow. This is what is meant by "follow your heart". There are no right or wrong choices; there are simply choices. Remember, if at any time you do not like the result of a choice you have made, you are always free to choose again.

Now that you are on your way to being in control of your life, things around you will change as well. There may be those in your life that do not understand the change in you, especially those to whom you have given your power that you are now reclaiming. Some of these may fall away, however, you will start to draw to yourself those persons who will understand and support you.

Another important thing to remember; if there is anything in your life that you consider a mistake, something that you think may have turned out better if you had done differently, it was not a mistake. There are no mistakes; these were things that we needed to experience in order to grow on our spiritual journey.

Once you have taken back control of your life, love yourself enough to keep it.
