Why Children
The question:
You have said that we are each in charge of and in control of our own selves, our own bodies, our own lives. How about a 5 year old who has cancer. The father insists that he take total charge of treatment, and sent the son to a cancer treatment center where he was in radiation therapy and chemotherapy which minimized the immune system (Dr. Peebles: No my dear friend it destroys it) that's what I believe but I didn't want to be judgmental.Dr. Peebles:
My dear friend that is not judgmental, that is your truth, you are not saying that the people who are administering this are jerks or such things, that is judgment there, they do not understand the way that you do and that's all right is it not.The response:
Yes, the treatment did not work and so the father sent the son back for a repeat treatment and I wonder how that 5-year-old boy is in charge of his own life.Dr. Pebbles:
First of all, it's quite plain and simple. He made a choice to be here upon the earth with this particular individual as his daddy, he makes a decision day by day to surrender to this man, there are reasons for this that we are not permitted here to share, it is part of this little ones journey upon the earth, it is part of something that he wanted as closure with his relationship with daddy.The response:
Yes, but its too bad because he lives in a community that also has the Gerson Institute which uses ones own immune system to fight ones cancer.Dr. Peebles:
Yes, we understand, however, the journey here upon planet earth is not one whereby everyone will be whole and healed and live happily ever after and that that and only that is the good thing and the rest is bad. You see, growth my dear friend, is the point and for this little one there is a soul inside of that little body, there is a desire for a certain and particular adventure, there are needs for closure to past life relationships to what he considers to be karma. It is not necessary to come back, it is not necessary to play it out, but this little one has made a decision here, and also my dear friends, stands as a real icon of one who really is in charge because he is very serene, and very beautiful and very practical about what is happening to him. And he is a wonderful teacher is he not?
