Hi, I’m Michael, your Bible Guy.

I’ve been fascinated with the Bible, its stories, characters, anecdotes, and teachings, for as far back as I can remember. Not understanding much of what I was reading in the Bible, I made the exploration of it my avocation. What follows is the result of my research of the Aramaic, Ancient Hebrew, and Greek languages, more editions of the Bible than I can count and some of my own thoughts that came to me during my research which still goes on.

I have used verses from the Bible, definitions of words from Ancient Aramaic, Hebrew and Greek dictionaries to support what you find here. There are also references to some rich symbolism and idioms common to many Biblical stories and events that I have attempted to unmask.  Scattered throughout the work are some of my own thoughts and conclusions that came to me as a result of my research and also what I consider to be common sense.

I make no claim that this is the last word from God or Jesus Christ in the channeling of their work into Bible form. I simply present to you what my research has revealed to me in the hope that in some way it may help to make your own journey through the Bible a bit more enriching and rewarding.
